I need to purchase a hand held gps to be used in Africa.?

I need it to locate areas on google earth and be able to pin point these areas as precisely as possible. I don't need any other fancy gadgets and/or extras. Just need a good rugged instrument that could lock in with satellites and provide a pin pointed reading of the position where I am standing. If map of the area could be loaded in it, even better. Thanks.
