ok this is what happened. ive had unprotected a couple times this month. no accidents. my boyfriend pulled out. We had on Thursday which was July 9th. Part of it was protected part of it wasnt. first part was unprotected. then he put a condom on. During this time. My period was due Friday the 10th. Saturday came along and it never happened. About 10 years ago we put in a very large patio of multi-colored paving stones that looked like bricks. Their color has faded except for one spot where we had mats last summer. What is the best way to restore the color of the other stones? Or clean them? They seem to have moss or mildew imbedded in them, but they also look dirty next to the patch where the mats were.

We recently discovered, i have anxiety disorder, and was think about it long and hard. I always freak out under stress, i can't focus when someone is yelling. People shouting is the hardest for me to cope with. I feel extremely pained when i hear the voice of anyone of my family members shouting. Although, they're all very nice ppl and i have a decent life, I feel like l'm so unlucky bcz ppl in our household yell so much all the time. Then, it came to me. Why can't I join another's game in Diablo 2?

Sperm donation or adoption?

After me having several miscarriages, my husband was diagnosed with a chromosome disorder. After talking to a genetic counselor, they determined our change of a normal healthy pregnancy is 33%. we did IVF to check our embryos 3 times. We had a total of 18 embryos, and they were all abnormal which meant i would have just miscarried them if they would have transferred them to me. My question is this: I am 33 years old. we have been dealing with this for 4 years now. we are in the process of adopting but wanted to know what someone else would do given our situation. i am getting older and the chances for pregnancy seem to decline after 35. i want 2 or more children. should we continue trying on our own, go forward with adoption or use a sperm donor which my husband is leaning more towards. i on the other hand feel a lilttle weirded out at the sperm donor idea but would love to know what it feels like to be pregnant and the baby would be 50 % me genetically instead of no genetic connection through adoption. i am at a total crossroads and thought it would be interesting to see what others would do if this was their life.

Why is the judge being do dismissive about my small claims suit?

I recently took a contractor to court for what I believed to be substandard carpentry and painting work he did. The boards he used for flooring warped in a few months and in the areas he painted, the paint flaked and peeled. The contractor returned several time to do remedial work, but I felt that painting over already peeling paint and prying up boards and trying to reposition them instead of replacing them was not adequate to permanently fix the problem. The boards are still warped and the paint is still flaking. I took numerous photos to show the judge. At the first hearing, the judge let the defendant go first, then when I tried to say something, the judge stopped me. Finally the judge asked me for a statement. I pulled the photos I had printed out and she said "I don't want to look at a 10 page report!" However, she did look at one photo and said that the boards looked even to her. The contractor also added that roofing work I had done subsequent to his job made the boards pop up. The the judge told me that I have to get more contractors to say the lumber wasn't warped by the roofers. I feel like the judge is favoring the contractor by listening more to his side, not looking at all my evidence, and making me obtain professional opinions when I thought teh photos would speak for themselves. Is this normal court procedure? Of course, I'm in the contractors turf because I had to go to his town to file the claim where the judge is an elected official. If she finds for me, the contractor might not vote for he, but if she finds for him, she loses nothing. What can I do strengthen my case?

I have Western Digital and Hitachi drives and have for many years without a problem. If given a choice, at the same capacity and price I'd choose Western Digital for myself. Stay away from the larger Seagate drives -- in general they're a very solid brand, but the 1TB and 1.5TB drives have been experiencing failure rates approaching 40% within the first six months of use. No reports of problems with the smaller drives from them though. I wouldn't be skittish about buying a drive branded Samsung, I don't think they actually manufacture the hard drives themselves, but probably buy OEM units from WD or Hitachi and stick them in Samsung branded enclosures. Same thing for Buffalo and Imation, neither of them make the actual hard disks inside their enclosures. But quick answer, go with Western Digital.

Possible eye injury on 4 mo old puppy?

kids were playing and she got the corner of the "crate divider" (which we no longer use and was stored behind something)- the part that hooks behind the metal bars in the crate- caught in her lower eye lid. I got it out within seconds and it hasn't bled and after the initial yelping when it happened, she's been calm and quiet- even wagging her tail at the door at people. I put her in her crate to rest though and to see how it goes. So far, it actually looks okay which I find amazing. Is there anything else you think I should/could do?

Depression or just confused?

I am at a wits end with myself. I can't tell if i'm just confused because i'm at a crossroads, or if i'm depressed and making myself isolated subconsciously. The background is this, I was in a relationship, an unhealthy one at that, for about 3 years. I lived with my ex and long story short, he used to verbally abuse me and right before I moved in with him I had a huge falling out with my best friends I had grown up with. I was completely reliant on the friends of his that I had befriended and my ex boyfriend for support. As I mentioned before he was NOT at all supportive and i began to rely heavily on drugs. I eventually got rid of him and only smoke weed now to help me relax. When I broke up with my ex I stopped talking to everyone we knew in common for fear that he would stalk me if he knew anything about where i was. I've since met a new man but have not regained friends from the incident. I talk to my friends on myspace/facebook, but anytime old friends want to meet up or my boyfriend wants to do something with people, even though I want to, I ALWAYS find a reason to be negative about going and hanging out or even getting out of having to hang out with people entirely. It is even spilling to my family life and i'm finding myself more and more unattached from my family. My life besides this, is great. I have a nice job, i bought a home a year ago, ive got a new car...I just dont understand why i'm like this. I used to LOVE hanging out with people and now I dont know if its my 'older' personality that doesnt like to hang out or if im truly depressed and need to see a doctor. I'm just so confused....is anyone else like this or am I just crazy??

Why wont my fish school?

my emperor tetra was acting really wierd and i thought he was just lonely cause he was alone (inside his species) so i got him some friends.. i put 4 emperors in 15.5 gallon tank and he started acting even weirder i thought maybe he was sick so i quarantined him and he started acting fine i left him by himself for a couple days no freek outs or acting up of anysort so i put him back with the other fish ( both the tanks are on the same filtration system and have the same ph) and he started freaking out again someone told me he had ich with the only symptom being his rapid movement so i treated all my fish i dont know how long its supposed to take for the treatment to work only that i should treat them for a week... never the less he just kept acting wierd so i removed him from the tank and put him by himself and now hes acting fine again. does he actually like being alone? i thought these fish thrived in schools can someone please help me... thank you

Airbag Light coming on after prior repair? What to Do?

In September my car was in a front end wreck where the airbags deployed. They were repaired by a dealer with a body shop who was authorized through my insurance company as a "blue ribbon shop." In the past two weeks I have been seeing the airbag light come on and stay on for the entirety of my drives. I have not had any other electrical related problems or any major repairs done to the car. I've had this a couple of times and it's pretty good. I asked the clerk what it was made from and how it was made he told me extra firm tofu, baked down and basted with sweet and sour sauce. That's pretty much all I could get out of him. I'd like to make this and other imitations that can be used for other recipes that I used to like when I ate some meat base recipes. It cost $9.99 a lb at Whole foods so money is another motivator. Most tofu stuff I've had tastes awful like Tofurkey lunch meat don't how people eat it. This and the Vegetarian Pepper "Steak" are one of the few things I've tasted that actually tastes good and give me hope I might make something good with it. I am not a vegetarian but cutting out as much as meat as possible. I still eat fish a few times a week. I have blood sugar issues and have trouble digesting nuts and find so far cutting it all out makes me ill. I'd appreciate some tips and recipes to duplicate the texture and taste so I have other options.

But you might be able to pay a minor rental fee to your college and they might rent one out to you for 20 dollars. I go to UC Davis and at my school you need a bike. I am not sure if your campus is ideal for biking, but if it is, a bike and a bike lock would be helpful, especially if it is a big campus. I recommend getting a printer though, that would be very useful. But try not to bring too many things.

Marriage is different from region to region and religion to religion. From what I know Pakistanis do not do that. But many Muslims tend to to keep money and land in the family. As for me and probably 90% of the new Muslim generation sees it is that we would never do that. But, I don't see it as a bad thing. Just not a thing to do unless you need to. But, just be mutual. Don't go around hating Pakistanis. I love them, they can be great people. Many tribal places in Pakistan didn't always have leave there area. So they did marry cousins. Should I skip dinner?

Hi I am a 13 year old boy and I am proud that I have lost 85 lbs. For breakfast every single morning I have a GIGANTIC bowl of cornflakes with cut up strawberries and one cut up banana with blueberries with skim milk. Has anyone had/have a dog that was a cryptochid?

I have a puppy. He is over 8 months old. The vet informed me when he was at a younger age at that his testicles didn't seem to be dropping into place. He is still in the same boat now and will have to have them surgically removed. He is not wanting to hold his urine. He will get let out and he will urinate twice before we go to bed. I am now at the stage where I regularly wake up vomitting in bed after a quite evening of boozing. Severe tooth pain, neck pain could it be TMJ?

I went to the dentist the other day because it feels like my entire lower right mouth is on fire with pain. My upper is flaring up as well. He took an Xray of one tooth and said he thought it was inflammed gums and to use Listerine and provided me with Tylenol 3. Well the Listerine makes my mouth feel better for about 2 minutes,and it feels WONDERUL to brush my teeth, but hurts again as soon as I am done. The tyleonl doesnt touch the pain. Now I am getting pain into my neck and just behind my ear. There is no popping or clicking. Could it be TMJ?

Will this cause my handgun to jam?

I own a XDm 40s&w full sized handgun. I keep it near my bed for home defense. I use the winchester PDX 1 bonded JHP as the ammo in the clip. Now my question is if an intruder was to enter and I needed to the gun, if I pulled back the slide and let it go foreword slowly to reduce the noise would this cause the gun to malfunction or jam? When I took my saftey course the instructor said to always pull the slide back and let go and let it slam back into place for a spiny tension issue or something. But when I do this it makes alot of noise. So again my question is will it cause the gun to malfunction if I pull the slide back to chamber the initial round then ease it back into place to reduce the noise? Side not I do not store it loaded 1. Because you never store a gun an ammo together but also 2.because there are children in the house.

9/10 of the "is my diet ok?" questions are diets that contain a pitiful amount of protein, like 10-15 grams. Protein is great for weight loss why don't people eat it? Also why don't people eat more healthy fats like olive oil and such? Also why are so many people opposed to eating well rounded meals. Most of these diets consist of a series of light snacks throughout the day, with no actual meals. What gives? Surely there can't be that many anorexics there must be some serious misinformation going around.

What shoes are good for traveling?

I am going to Europe for a month this summer. We will be hiking various mountains but also dining at nice restaurants, etc. I am looking for one or two pairs of shoes that would be easy to pack, be able to withstand a lot of walking, and look attractive. I am an extreme girly girl and wear a lot of dresses so one of my pairs needs to look good with dresses without cutting off my leg line. They also need to look nice enough for fancy meals, museums, and cathedrals. The other pair needs to be able to handle heavy hiking through the Swiss Alps and various other forests, mountains, etc. Both need to be extremely packable because I am planning to only travel with one backpack.

Your dog will not mind what you do, I have never asked for my dogs to be cremated or asked for their body, I prefer to get a nice photo of them when they were healthy and happy so I can enjoy thinking of them. Anyways he got to know my parents and he ended up be so friendly that he moved in because his guardian was a phyco and he needed help with school. He seemed pretty cool but I think that I was getting old enough to notice that my mom was acting different. He would get mad at me cause I annoyed me and he hit me with a pillow really hard and she didn't do a fuoking thing. Anyways I'll skip alot and after the cops being called a few times my mom divorced my dad. She dosebt pay child support. And me, my sister, and my lil bro were stuck here and it was hard to get the bills paid. My sister didn't help either. It all started out with her along time before that. When I was real small she used to tell me she would get me something if I let her friend, who wasent supposed to be in the house because she was a slut and was a druggie, come in. And if I didn't she would get mad and act like I did something wrong. Even to this day she still has the same principle attitude toward that situation. My brother is the one I feel worst about he was only 5 and he was to small to be in that junk. Now my dad remarried and his new wife is very sensetive and I know there is nothing wrong with that but it is very stressful to deal with. My mom is how an alcoholic and is a big smoker. I want to tell my sister and mom off so bad but I am afraid to because my mom was kinda sucidal and i don't want to go back to that.
