Palm Desktop for Vista is acting strange =(?

I have had a Tungsten E2 for a few years now, and i haven't had a problem. I just got a vista laptop, and now it won't let me sync. It works on my at home vista desktop, but why won't it work on my laptop now? It starts the sync ok, but it never gets past the calender part of the sync...Does anyone know what i can do?
